New Fitness Partnership
I recently wrote about Nike and Apple partnering up again to make fitness machines and ipods compatible. Adidas and Samsung announced that for the last two years they have been working on a cellular phone that tracks your workout. It is called miCoach a.k.a Samsung F110. It comes with five components that provide audio workout feedback. The components include the phone,a stride sensor clip that hooks to sneaker laces,a heart-rate monitor, adidas compatible apparel, and accesses to the miCoach website where you can track the information and set goals. The product is going to be released in Europe at the end of March, but will not hit the U.S. until next year. Some other features include up to 4 gigs of music storage, audio cues to let you know when you are off pace. So if you are in U.S. you will have to strap on the old pedometer until next year.
